Texas Medical Center Police
The Texas Medical Center Police and Security Department assists in the protection of life and preservation of property to ensure the safety of the Texas Medical Center employees and visitors.
Safety Escorts: The Texas Medical Center Police Department is available 24/7 for those students who have a legitimate fear that would prevent a student from feeling safe while crossing the TMC campus. View information about this escort is on the Campus Access and Security page.

Emergency Notification System
Baylor College of Medicine has implemented an emergency notification system to alert students, trainees, faculty and staff of a crisis or catastrophic event. Emergency Management Guide and Plan
All Baylor students, trainees, faculty and staff are encouraged to regularly review the Emergency Management Guide (Baylor login required). The purpose of this Guide is to assist you during emergencies such as fires, disasters, bomb threats or medical emergencies.
