About Us
Baylor Global Health was established in July 2014 as the Baylor Center for Globalization, an administrative division, governing all of Baylor College of Medicine’s international programs and initiatives related to healthcare, health services, medical education and training, and healthcare delivery research. As “global is local and local is global,” Baylor Global Health performs global and community health outreach to reduce global health disparities, expand healthcare access, and innovate healthcare solutions that improve survival, especially in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs), through innovative, community-driven approaches. Baylor Global Health is “Caring for our Local, National, and Global Communities.”
